A post mortem will take place today on the body of a woman found in South Dublin.
The discovery was made at a house in the Balure Lane area of Killiney yesterday.
The woman was in her 50s.
Gardaí say the circumstances around her death are unknown at this stage.
The scene has been preserved to allow a techincal examination take place.
While a post mortem examination will take place on the woman's body later.
Gardaí say the outcome of the exam will determine the course of their investigation.
