Two people have been arrested after a woman was thrown to the ground during a robbery in Dublin in the early hours of this morning.
Gardai responding to the incident located a man and a woman nearby, and recovered the phone which was stolen.
Gardai say a woman was walking in the Ballymun Road area of Dublin 11 at 12.55am when she was approached from behind and thrown to the ground, before a man took her phone and ran from the scene.
Officers carried out a search of the area and located and arrested a man and a woman a short time later, and recovered the stolen phone.
A man in his 40s and a woman in her 30s are detained at Ballymun Garda Station where they can be held for up to 24 hours.
