Gardai are still quizzing a woman in her forties in connection with the murder of a Dublin man last month.
65 year old Paddy Redmond was found stabbed to death at an apartment in Limerick in the early hours of Sunday - November 10th..
Gardai were alerted around 2am and rushed Mr Redmond to University Hospital Limerick where he was later pronounced dead.
The scene of the stabbing was sealed off and a major operation swung into action along with an appeal for information.
A break in the case came yesterday, with a woman arrested in connection with the stabbing.
She has been brought into custody by gardai based at Henry Street in Limerick under section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act and can be held for up to 24 hours.
