A woman's been killed in a crash involving a car and a Luas in the city centre this morning.
The incident occurred during the peak rush hour at the corner of Abbey St and Jervis St around a quarter to nine this morning.
The front of a Luas tram collided with the rear of a BMW, which then careered across the junction and struck a female passerby.
She sustained serious injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Gardai and 3 units of the fire brigade including a Dublin fire brigade ambulance, responded to the incident.
Luas red line services have returned to normal.
