A pedestrian in her 70s has died following a collision with a truck in Dublin this morning.
The incident happened at around 10am at the junction of George's Street Lower and Convent Lane in Dun Laoghaire.
The body of the woman, in her early 70s, has been removed from the scene to St Columcille's Hospital in Loughlinstown where a post mortem exam will take place.
The driver of the truck and a passenger were treated at the scene for their injuries which are not believed to be life threatening.
The road remains closed for a forensic exam and gardai are appealing for any witnesses to contact them.

A Garda spokesperson says: "Gardaí are investigating a fatal road traffic collision that occurred this morning Friday 18th February, 2022 at the junction of George's Street Lower and Convent Lane, Dun Laoghaire.
"At approximately 10.00 a.m. a female pedestrian was fatally injured following a collision with a truck. The woman (early 70s) has been removed from the scene to St. Columcille's Hospital, Loughlinstown where a post mortem will take place in due course.
"The male driver (late 30s) of the truck and his male passenger (late 30s) were treated at the scene for their injuries that are not believed to be life threatening.
"The road is currently closed as the Forensic Collision Investigators are conducting their examination of the scene and local diversions are in place.
"Gardaí are appealing for any witnesses to this collision to come forward. Any road users who were travelling in the area at this time and may have camera footage (including dash-cam) are asked to make this footage available to Gardaí.
