A woman in her 70s has been treated in hospital after a dog attack in Dublin.
It happened at a property in Darndale shortly before 3pm yesterday afternoon.
Emergency services were called and the woman was taken to Beaumont Hospital with 'non life-threatening injuries'.
The dog, which is not a believed to be a restricted breed, was removed by the local dog warden.
In a statement a garda spokesperson said; "Gardaí and emergency services were alerted to an incident involving a dog that occurred at a property in Darndale, Dublin 17 at approximately 2:45pm this afternoon, Tuesday 22nd April 2025.
A woman, aged in her 70s, was taken to Beaumont hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
