A well-known pub in south Dublin has closed after a staff member contracted Covid-19.
The Old Orchard Inn in Rathfarnham says all employees are now being tested for the virus.
In a post on its Facebook page, the pub said; "Due to an isolated incident of a staff member testing positive for Covid 19 outside of the workplace, we will be closed until further notice."
The bar is owned by the Charlie Chawke group which has a number of pubs across Dublin.
Wet pubs reopening date
Meanwhile all Irish pubs could be reopening in two weeks time. Cabinet is expected to agree to a date when it meets today.
It comes after strict guidelines for pubs that don't serve food, allowing them to open safely, were published at the weekend.
According to the Irish Times, the government is likely to announce September 21st as the date when wet pubs can get back trading.
Bars here have experienced the longest lockdown in Europe with publicans lobbying fiercely to get back to business.
