A man has been taken to hospital after a tree fell on his car during last night's storm.
It happened shortly before 9pm in Lusk, but his injuries are not believed to be life threatening.
Gardai are asking all drivers to take care this morning and warn that College Road near Mulhuddart is still blocked by a fallen tree.
Meanwhile the worst affected areas include Cork City which was under two feet of water following high tide last night.
