A wandering swan was briefly detained by Gardaí in Dublin earlier today.
Officers from Pearse Street came across the Swan while on patrol in St Stephen's Green park.

Sammy the Swan is not a resident of the park, so had to be moved by Gardaí.
Thankfully, Gardaí managed to bring Sammy back to his usual home on the Grand Canal.
