A vigil is to be held for a woman who was murdered in north Dublin last week.
Lisa Thompson was found dead at her home at Sandyhill Gardens in Ballymun last Tuesday. The 52 year-old had been stabbed up to twelve times and her body may have lain undiscovered for a number of days.
Gardaí are continuing to investigate what led to the mother of two's murder.
A candle lit vigil and a minute's silence will be held outside the Axis centre in Ballymun on Friday at 4.30pm.
The event has been organised through Facebook;
"In response to the tragic and very sudden death of Lisa Thomson we as a community feel we should get together and show solidarity with her heartbroken family and friends."
