Much of England and Wales is facing shutdown ahead of the biggest storm in years.
But, the high winds are also affecting Ireland with some flights and ferry services cancelled for tonight and tomorrow morning.
Hurricane force winds and heavy rain are expected to lash several parts of England and Wales overnight and tomorrow.
But, here at home, Met Eireann has issued an 'orange status gale marine warning' which has lead to some cancellation for ferry operators.
The Irish Ferries 'Jonathan Swift fast craft' sailings have been cancelled for today but customers with valid tickets will be accommodated on the Cruise Ferry sailings which are expected to operate to schedule.
Meanwhile, Fast Craft sailings for tomorrow have also been cancelled but passengers can avail of the Cruise Vessel sailings.
Flights are also being affected by the weather conditions
Aer Lingus has cancelled eight journeys between Ireland and London Heathrow
And, they're advising passengers to check the status of their flights online.
