Two people on scramblers dropped shopping bags containing drugs when they were spotted by gardai in Dublin yesterday.
Officers on patrol in Lucan saw two people speeding on scramblers near the Balgaddy Road, who fled when gardai approached.
They dropped two shopping bags which contained cannabis worth €100,000.
No arrests have been made.

A garda spokesperson says: "As part of Operation Tara, Gardaí in Ronanstown have seized €100,000 worth of cannabis.
"While on patrol in Lucan yesterday, Gardaí observed two persons driving at speed on scramblers. Both suspected offenders fled the scene when Gardaí approached the area, dropping two shopping bags on the roadside as they fled.
"Gardaí recovered vacuum sealed bags inside the shopping bags, containing €100,000 worth of cannabis. They drugs have been seized and will be subject to analysis by Forensic Science Ireland.
"Investigations are ongoing."
