Two people have been arrested after a shop was robbed at knifepoint in south Dublin.
A man and a woman in their 40s were arrested yesterday after the store in Dun Laoghaire was held up last Friday.
A Garda spokesperson says; "At approximately 7.45pm on Friday evening, two people entered the premises and threatened staff with a knife. A sum of cash was taken from the premises.
Following enquiries by investigating Gardaí, a search operation was conducted this afternoon, Thursday 30th November 2023 at a residence in County Wicklow."
A man and woman were arrested and are currently detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984, at a Garda station in County Dublin.
Gardaí say investigations are ongoing.
