An 18-year-old man has been charged with the murder of Tristan Sherry, who was killed following a shooting at a restaurant on Christmas Eve.
A 25-year-old man meanwhile has been charged with assault charging harm, violent disorder and producing a knife.
18-year-old David Amah of Hazel Grove, Portrane Road, Donabate, who has been charged with murder, was remanded in custody after a brief hearing at Blanchardstown District Court this morning.
26-year-old Tristan Sherry was attacked after opening fire inside Browne's Steakhouse in Blanchardstown on 24 December. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Garda Sergeant Emma Ryan told the court that Mr Amah "made no reply" when charged at Finglas station shortly after 6pm yesterday.
The District Court does not have the power to consider a bail application in a murder case, which requires a High Court application.
Mr Amah was remanded in custody to appear at Cloverhill District Court on Tuesday.
A second man, 25-year-old Wayne Deegan of Linnetsfield Avenue, Phibblestown, Dublin 15 is charged with assault causing harm, violent disorder and producing a knife.
Mr Deegan was also remanded in custody to appear at Cloverhill District Court next Friday.
Mr. Amah is the second person to be charged with Mr. Sherry's murder, after 22-year-old Michael Andrecut of Sheephill Avenue, Dublin 15 appeared in court last weekend.
