Gardai are investigating two assaults in Dublin city centre in the early hours of Sunday morning.
The first happened on Camden Place, where a man in his 20s was assaulted and mugged by two people.
The second victim, also a man in his 20s, was assaulted and mugged a short time later at St Stephen's Green West.
In both cases, the injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
Gardai are appealing for witnesses.
Investigation
A garda spokesperson says: "Gardaí are investigating a robbery and assault that occurred in Camden Place, Dublin 2 in the early hours of Sunday morning, 30th July 2023.
"A male (aged in his 20s) was assaulted by two suspects. Personal items were also taken from the injured male during the course of the assault.
"His injuries are understood to be non-life threatening.
"Investigations are ongoing at this time.
"In a separate investigation, gardaí are investigating an incident of robbery and assault of a man (aged in his 20’s) that occurred on St Stephen’s Green West, Dublin 2 in the early hours of Sunday morning, 30th July 2023. The man’s injuries are understood to be non-life threatening.
"Investigations are ongoing at this time."
