Two men remain in Garda custody this morning following a robbery at a filling station in Blessington in Co. Wicklow last night.
The men, one aged 30 and one aged 40, held up staff at a service station in Blessington at around 5 past 10 and stole a quantity of cash.
One of the men was armed with a sword and the second with a handgun.
They were arrested near the scene and the handgun, sword, clothing and cash were recovered in the car.
The scene at the filling station is preserved for technical examination and the car has been seized for examination.
