Two men remain in Garda custody after drugs and cash were seized in Dublin yesterday.
It followed a search operation carried out by the National Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau in the city centre and Tallaght yesterday.
A number of vehicles were stopped and searched in both areas, and Gardai discovered cannabis herb worth around €2.2m in the process, which was then seized.
€150,000 in cash was also found and seized by officers.
Two men, aged in their 30s and 50s were arrested and brought to Tallaght Garda Station.
They both remain in custody this morning.
