Two men have died following separate road crashes in Dublin yesterday.
The first of two fatal collisions happened on the N81 in Tallaght at approximately a quarter past 7 yesterday evening.
A 23-year-old male pedestrian was struck by an SUV and treated for his injuries at the scene, but he was later pronounced dead.
The sole occupant of the car, a woman in her 40s, did not require medical treatment.
The man has been removed to the Dublin City Morgue where a post-mortem examination will be carried out.

At approximately 7pm, emergency services attended the scene of a separate road traffic collision on Summerhill Parade.
Another male pedestrian, aged in his 40s, was hit by a car and taken to the Mater Hospital but later died from his injuries.
Gardaí are appealing to the public, who may have information on any of the two crashes, to come forward.
They're particularly keen to seek information from those who may have camera or dash-cam footage.
