Two people have been killed in an overnight crash in South Dublin.
It happened at around 1.30am on Butterfield Avenue in Templeogue.
A car hit a lamppost during the collision, fatally injuring a man and woman.
Their bodies have been taken to Tallaght University Hospital. A post mortem is due to take place later today.

GSOC were informed of the crash and are conducting an examination.
The Garda Forensic Collision Investigation Unit have conducted an exam of the scene and the road has reopened.
Gardaí are appealing for anyone who traveled the road at the time of the collision, and who may have dash cam footage, to contact Gardaí in Tallaght.
