Gardai say they are not looking for a third party in their investigation into the deaths of a man and a woman in Co. Clare last night.
Twenty seven year old Angelique and 44 year old Cornelius Belling died in Kildysart after they were found by Gardai with serious injuries.
It's understood both had suffered stab wounds.
Emergency services were attending the scene of an unrelated fire last night when the woman collapsed on the main street.
The man was then found seriously injured inside the house but despite efforts to save them, both were declared dead at the scene.
The couple's 3 and 5 year old children are being looked after by neighbours and the HSE has been contacted.
