Two people have charged in connection with robberies in north Dublin.
Gardaí searched a property in the Dublin 7 area yesterday after a pharmacy in Artane was robbed twice in the last week.
Evidence was seized and a man and a woman in their 20s were arrested. They've since been charged and will appear in court this morning.
A garda spokesperson says; "Two individuals have been arrested and charged in connection with two recent robberies in north Dublin.
"As part of ongoing investigations into two robbery incidents at a pharmacy in the Artane area of Dublin on January 6th and 9th, 2024, Gardaí conducted a search of a residence in the Dublin 7 area on Wednesday, January 10th, 2024.
"In the course of the search Gardaí seized evidence and arrested a man and woman, aged in their 20s. Both were detained for questioning under section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984 at a Garda Station in north Dublin."
They have since been charged in connection with both cases and are due to appear before the Criminal Courts of Justice this morning January 11th, 2024.
