Two men have been arrested in relation to spate of robberies at retail premises.
Shops in Dublin, Wicklow, Galway, Meath and Kilkenny were targeted in July and August by an organised crime gang.
As part of an investigation into the thefts, Gardaí searched a property in Straffan in Kildare yesterday.
A number of items, that are believed to be stolen, were recovered. Two men, in their 20s and 30s, were arrested at the scene.
They are currently being detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984 at Blackrock Garda station.
A third man in his 30s was arrested at the end of July as part of the investigation. He was charged and appeared before the Criminal Courts of Justice the following day.
