Gardaí Appeal For Taxi Drivers Help With Murder Inquiry

Gardaí are looking to speak to taxi drivers in relation to the murder of a man in Ringsend

Two people remain in custody after 63 year old Thomas Horan was found dead at his apartment in Cambridge Court at 4am on Monday

Detectives have renewed their appeal for information.

In particular they would like to speak to taxis who may have picked up or dropped off a man and woman in the area between 2am and 5am

.Three years ago, Horan moved into Cambridge Court which is a housing complex run by Dublin City Council for senior citizens.

He was found dead by a friend in the bedroom of his ground floor flat in the early hours of Monday morning.

A murder inquiry was launched yesterday after a PM revealed he died from internal injuries.

Superintendent David Taylor has appealed for the public's help with their investigation.

A 27 year old man and a woman aged 37 were arrested yesterday afternoon in connection with Thomas' death.

They were taken to Donnybrook and Irishtown Garda stations where they can be held for a total of 24 hours
