Two men have been arrested following the seizure of a gun and ammunition in north Dublin.
Gardai tried to stop a car on Pinewood Green in Balbriggan at around 6pm yesterday - but the two men in the vehicle tried to reverse at high speed and get away.
They abandoned the car and fled on foot before being found hiding in a bush near Castleland Park View.
The car's been seized and a sawn-off shotgun and six cartridges were also found.

The men, one in his 20s and the other in his 30s, are being questioned at Swords and Balbriggan Garda stations.
