The National Union of Journalists has condemned the killing of Pierre Zakrzewski and Oleksandra Kuvshynova in Ukraine.
The Fox News staff were killed outside Kyiv when their vehicle was struck by incoming fire.
Pierre is an Irish citizen who had been living in London for a number of years.
His family lived in Leopardstown and he attended St Conleth’s College in Ballsbridge and studied arts in UCD.
He is survived by his wife Michelle, his mother, and his five siblings.
His mother and two brothers continue to live in Dublin.
The NUJ says attacks on journalists are an attack on democracy.

In a statement Fox News described Pierre as a "passionate journalist" whose talents were unmatched.
President Michael D Higgins says the death of Pierre Zakrzewski in the Ukrainian capital was indiscriminate.
He says the "indiscriminate killing of civilians, including journalists, must be brought to an end".
The Taoiseach says he's deeply disturbed and saddened.
Micheál Martin says his thoughts are with their families, friends and fellow journalists.
He condemned what he called the indiscriminate and immoral war by Russia on Ukraine.

St Conleths in Ballsbridge paid tribute to its past pupil.

The Department of Foreign Affairs is providing consular assistance to the family.
Minister Simon Coveney says his officials are in touch with Pierre's family, and he says he strongly condemns the targeting of journalists who have been working bravely to shine a light on the plight of Ukraine since the outbreak of hostilities.
