The Transport Minister is calling on Aer Lingus cabin crew to call off their strike this Friday.

Members of the IMPACT trade union plan to hold a 24-hour work stoppage on May 30th, in a dispute with management over rosters.

Leo Varadkar has welcomed IMPACT's willingness to return to talks but said the strike action should now been called off.

He said the majority of passengers have now been booked onto alternative flights and so the amount of disruption to services this Bank Holiday weekend should be minimised.
