Trans and Intersex Pride Dublin will hold its annual Pride march today in the city today.
It will at 2 o'clock and will run from the Garden of Remembrance to Leinster House.
The march will be in opposition to the treatment of trans people by the government, which are currently having to wait seven to 10 years for healthcare.
The amount of gender recognition certificates issued in Ireland last year went up 65 per cent
321 certs were issued in 2022, compared to 194 in 2021.
Self-identification of gender has been allowed in Ireland since the Gender Recognition Act was passed in 2015.
