Three women rescued from 30 years of alleged domestic slavery in London are believed to have been members of a quasi-religious cult.
Senior investigators say the women, one of whom is Irish, were beaten, brainwashed and subject to emotional control at the house in Lambeth, in London.
Two suspects, a man and a woman both aged 67, were arrested and have been released on bail.
They're due back in court in January.
All three women, a 57 year old Irish woman, a 69 year old Malaysian and a 30 year old from Britain, are now in a safe house, receiving care.
Detectives say it may take a long time to piece together exactly what happened.
