Three men are being questioned by Gardai in connection with a firearm seizure in Dublin earlier this week.
The men - who are all aged in their 20's - were arrested after a car was stopped and searched on the Newcastle Road near Adamstown at around 3 o'clock on Tuesday afternoon.
Officers from the Garda Drugs Unit found two handguns, silencers and a quantity of ammunition during the search.
