A Trinity graduate and two others arrested outside a gun dealers have been found guilty of possessing handguns and ammunition.
Ursula Shannon of Inglewood Crescent, Clonsilla and co-accused John McGreal and Colin Brady will be sentenced next week.
The Special Criminal Court heard the trio were wearing wigs and disguises when they were stopped by armed Gardai in November 2012.
They were caught with two handguns, a stun gun and some ammunition outside a house that doubled as a business for a licensed gun seller.
During their trial, the non-jury court was shown CCTV footage of the interception of the stolen van they were travelling in.
The prosecution claimed they were there to rob the dealer's shop and steal his guns.
Ursula Shannon, a 30-year-old Trinity graduate and member of socialist republican group Eirigi was among those found guilty today.
Ahead of sentencing, she was remanded on bail along with co-accused John McGreal of Thornchase, Palmer Road, Rush.
The other man, Colin Brady of Ashgrove, Baskin Lane, Kinsealy, was also granted bail but didn't avail of it today and was remanded in custody.
The trio are due back in court next week for sentencing.
