A third man who was arrested in relation to an assault in Dublin earlier this week has been released without charge.
At around 11pm on Monday, a man in his sixties was left unconscious at Fairview Strand, following an attack by a number of people.
He was taken to the Mater Hospital where he was treated for serious injuries.
One man was arrested at the scene, another on Tuesday and a third man was taken in on Wednesday.
All three men, who are in their twenties, have been released without charge.
A file is being prepared for the DPP and gardaí in Raheny are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.
