John Henson - whose dad Jim created the Muppets - has died at the age of 48.
His sister says the puppeteer had a heart attack at his home in New York state on Friday.
He performed as Sweetums the ogre in several films, including Muppet Treasure Island and It's a Very Merry Muppet Christmas Movie.
