A teenager has been arrested as part of the investigation into an attack on three tourists in the city centre on Friday night.
Gardaí in Pearse Street say they have detained a 'male teenage juvenile' under section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act.
He's been detained at a Garda station in the city while the investigation continues.
The attack happened shortly after 10 o'clock on Friday night on Fownes Street Upper, just off Temple Bar.
The victims of the attack were three men aged in their twenties. They were taken to St James' Hospital for treatment, but all three have now been released.
Gardaí say the incident involved a 'serious assault and robbery'.
