A teenage boy has been charged over the fatal assault of Aaron Keating in Ongar.
Mr Keating sustained serious stab wounds during a row on Main Street in the town at around 7pm on Tuesday.
He was later pronounced dead in hospital.
The boy was arrested on suspicion of murder on Wednesday and was questioned at a West Dublin Garda station.
He is due to appear at Dublin Children's Court today.
Gardaí are urging those who were in the area at the time to not share footage on social media of the incident and to only share the evidence with Gardaí.
