A teenage boy has been arrested in connection with a serious assault in Ballyfermot.
It's part of an investigation into an attack near the Civic Offices just over a month ago on December 30th.
A teenage girl was left with serious injuries to her face during the attack, while a teenage boy who was with her was also injured.
The boy arrested is detained at a Garda Station in West Dublin where he can be held for up to 24 hours
A teenage boy arrested yesterday in connection with this assault has been released.
A garda spokesperson says: "A male juvenile was arrested this morning, Thursday, 3rd February, 2022, as part of the investigation into a serious assault that took place in the vicinity of the Civic Offices, Ballyfermot Road, on Thursday, 30th December, 2021.
