A 15 year old boy is to appear before the Children's Court this morning charged in connection with the hijacking of a taxi in Dublin at the weekend.
The boy was detained shortly after the incident on the Terenure Road at around 25 past 5 yesterday morning.
A 36 year old taxi driver was threatened with a knife and ordered out of his car.
A teen then drove off in the car before crashing on the Old Cabra Road around 20 minutes later.
Gardai arrested a 15 year old a short time later.
He's due before the Children's Court at half past 10 this morning.
