The Taoiseach says Ireland is fighting back, referring to job creation and a 2.9 per cent yield on 10 year bonds.
He was speaking to the St Patrick's Day breakfast in Boston at an event attended by around 1,000 Irish Americans including the mayor Marty Walsh
And he reiterated his priority of getting better conditions for the undocumented Irish in the US
