It's understood a man is fighting for his life after being slashed with a Samurai sword in Tallaght.
The attack happened yesterday in the Daletree estate in Firhouse.
The 21 year old victim had reportedly had a gaping stomach wound and lost a lot of blood by the time emergency servics arrived.
The Irish Independent claims the brutal assault followed a row between party goers.
