A swimming ban has been issued for Dublin's Dollymount Strand.
Bathers have been warned they could become ill if they go in the water.
It's after discharges from the waste water treatment plant after heavy rain in recent days.
The notice was issued yesterday and is expected to last for 72 hours. The beach will be resampled tomorrow while the HSE has been notified.
Red flags have also gone up at Sandymount Strand and Portmarnock's Velvet Strand.
The swimming bans there are also expected to last three days after storm water overflows.
