Hundreds of student nurses are set to demonstrate against pay and conditions at Dr. Steevens hospital this afternoon.
According to the Union of Students in Ireland, the current training wage starts at just 6 euro 49 per hour which is below the minimum wage.
It comes as the Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation is set to release a new survey on midwifery staffing levels in hospitals.
