Around 500 student nurses are protesting over low pay outside HSE Headquarters.
They say interns are paid just €6.49 an hour while graduates start on less than €23,000 a year.
Many students are emigrating when they graduate for better money and conditions.
Some students have moved to London or Toronto, and want the Health Minister and the HSE to rethink nurses pay.
