Street traders have been given the go-ahead to set up 15 stalls on Henry Street and 10 on O'Connell Street.
Traders were told by Dublin City Council last month that the traditional market could not go ahead due to Covid-19 guidelines.
Now a limited number will be permitted, and the spaces will be allocated to traders today.
The total number of stalls allowed is 25, while in previous years there have been 40 stalls on Henry Street alone.
Traders say they expect to be in operation by the end of the week.
