St Vincent's Hospital is under fire after its CEO revealed last night that he's earning almost 300 thousand euro a year.
Less than half of Nicholas Jermyn's salary is paid by the HSE, the rest is funded by Vincent's private hospital and includes a 20 thousand Euro car allowance.
The Vincent's Group insists no charitable donations are used to pay staff.
However, the HSE says the hospital is breaching public pay policy and it will meet with Vincent's chairman in January.
The Public Accounts Committee will also be looking for answers from the hospital in the New Year.
Last week, the hospital refused to disclose to them if it was topping up salaries.
