St. Stephen's Green has been named as one of the most tranquil destinations in the world.
Luxury travel website SpaSeekers.com says the Dublin park is the 8th best location globally for getting away from the stresses of modern life.
Blue Lagoon in Iceland was in first place for kicking back and relaxing, with baths in Hungary, thermal pools in New Zealand and botanical gardens in Australia also featuring in the top ten.
The website looked at how many times the word 'relaxing' was mentioned in reviews and it was said 1,104 about Stephen's Green. It was said 4,050 about Blue Lagoon in Iceland,
The data reveals that Europe is the most relaxing continent, with six of the world’s top ten, and eight of the top 25 scattered across the region. North America follows with eight relaxing destinations in the top 25.
