St Michan's Church in the Liberties will reopen its crypt to visitors early next week after it was desecrated in a vandal attack that saw one of its mummies beheaded.
Staff at the church realised the head of one mummy was missing after a break-in back in February.
Gardaí managed to recover the damaged skull of the 'Crusader' early in March.
Conservation staff at the National Museum have worked to restore it and the other mummies preserved bodies which were attacked.
But one, the 400-year-old mummy thought to be the remains of a nun, was so badly damaged it's been reinterred in a closed coffin.

Archdeacon David Pierpoint said they were looking forward to welcoming visitors back to St Michan's when it reopens on Tuesday.
"If you ask most Dublin people they would say 'I've always meant to go there but never actually went', and I think this will now spur them on to come and visit," he said. "We're looking forward to Tuesday to have it reopened."
"They're now back resting in peace, which is the most important part."
