Thousands of customers are feeling the pinch this month after switching bin companies, only to be charged by their old collector.
Those who moved from Greyhound to City Bin in November and December had an average of 100 euro taken from their accounts on January 1st.
Greyhound says they are urgently trying to resolve the problem.
But Dermot Jewell from The National Consumer Association says it couldn't come at a worse time for households.
