A solidarity vigil has been organised this afternoon in the city centre for emergency workers and those injured in last week's attack on Parnell Square.
The Irish Congress of Trade Unions wants people to go and express their gratitude for Gardaí, firefighters and paramedics caught up in Thursday's riots.
The union has thanked all those who put themselves in "harms way".
Workers will gather at the GPO at lunchtime and those who work in and around Dublin are asked to join.
ICTU has also said its thoughts are with those injured following the attack on Parnell Square, and the wider community.
One child remains in a critical condition in hospital while a woman is in a serious but stable condition.
Two other children were released from hospital on Thursday and Saturday respectively.
