Gardaí say an alert to a "suspect package" at the Social Democrats offices in Dublin is not credible.
It comes after the building was evacuated this morning.
The package was addressed to newly suspended TD Eoin Hayes.
The army bomb disposal unit was at the scene and the street was cordoned off for a time.
The party says Gardaí were called this morning, and officers took the decision to evacuate.
Neighboring buildings on Frederick Street, off Dawson Street in Dublin City, were also cleared.
A Garda spokesperson said officers were alerted at about 10.30 this morning.
