Snapchat has become the biggest US tech firm to float on the stock market since Facebook in 2012.
At $24 a share, the move has made the 26 year old founder Evan Spiegal an instant multi-billionaire.
He's notoriously private which is kind of gas given the app makes a living out of people sharing details about their lives.
Apparently it's easier to keep track of Spiegel by following his fiance Miranda Kerr.
The messaging app was launched in 2011, but it's now raising questions about its future after the parent company Snap listed itself as a camera company.
