A snake that went missing in Dublin has been reunited with its owner.
The reptile was handed into Irishtown Garda Station yesterday evening, after it was discovered in the kitchen of a house in Ringsend.
The snake was handed over to the DSPCA in Rathfarnham, where it has been reunited with its owner.
It's believe to be a ball python, and while they can bite, they're not venomous.

Director of the National Reptile Zoo in Kilkenny, James Hennessy, says pet snakes have a tendency to escape from their habitats.
"They're really efficient predators and really good escape artists," Hennessy said.
"They're not going to sit out in the open. They tend to make their way along skirting boards or under floorboards."
"The world is their oyster once they go out and about."
